Throughout the past three weeks, I have been busy creating an online weather unit for my students. This process has been incredibly fun for me. I love taking the time to create lessons to will enhance student learning and I truly believe that this unit will do just that!
WebWizard has been an invaluable tool for the creation of this unit. This site is very user-friendly and I have been able to brush up on many website creating skills I haven't used for a while...(mainly coding). As I complete my unit, I am becoming more and more anxious to use this unit in my classroom. I look forward to seeing/reflecting which things worked well and which things may need to be adjusted. I also am looking forward to my fellow classmates critiquing my work.

Weather Unit
Throughout the past two weeks, I have been creating my online weather unit. Before taking this class, I was not familiar with all of the wonderful online resources available for creating a unit. This process has been very beneficial to me, and I am confident will be to my students as well.
As I continue to create and modify my online weather unit, I will investigate other tools that will add to the effectiveness of my unit. I am looking forward to utilizing this unit later this year. After my instruction, I will reflect on how I can improve this site for future use. In addition, if this site proves to be successful, I will work on creating other effective online units.

Hot Potatoes
The website that I found most interesting is called "Hot Potatoes". This website allows individuals to download FREE assessment building software. With this software, an educator can create a variety of assessment questions for their students including multiple choice, short answer, matching/ordering, and more. The best part is you can create as many or as few questions as you want...AND your students get instant feedback on how they are doing/did.
After viewing this site, I thought that this would be an excellent tool that a teacher could include as an assessment for any subject area. It would also be a great review tool as well. I can see using this software to create a "jeopardy" style review game in the classroom.
