Reflection iMovie is one of my all-time favorite applications to use! It provides the user with many different options in order to customize and make adjustments to your project to match your exact standards. I also enjoy the ability of using Garage Band to blend music and commentary to create a well-rounded presentation for my directed audience. These applications allow you--and/or your students--to show creativity and skill other assignments may not render. Please enjoy my presentation--and feel free to leave feedback! =0)
Wow! This is about as close to a professional movie as one could get. Nice work. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work in this video. The information you gave us was very clear and pertinent to education today. The pictures and music were just icing on the cake. The standards were interesting to listen to. We have nothing like that at our school. Technology is huge in our school but we are not required to teach certain technology things. I really like the fact that you said you only use technology if you can use it "effectively." So many times I think teachers just use it to use it. Great work.
Thank you, Matt! I really enjoyed this project. Not only did it require us to do some research on current technology issues, but it allowed us to use technology to present our findings. iMovie is one of my favorite computer applications... I also like the PC version, Windows Movie Maker. I tried the PhotoStory 3 application but prefer the other two applications because I believe they allow you to add a more creative touch to your movies.
Thank you for such a nice review! I am glad my fellow classmates are taking the opportunity to view other blogs and videos, even though it is not required. =0)
I have to agree with Matt. This video was as close to professional as you can get. It was obvious you have experience with iMovie and you take a passion in it.
Using technology "effectively" is something I think about all the time. I know it's important for my students to learn how to use Word and Powerpoint, but I want to make sure they are "learning while doing." I have discussed with my colleagues many times about whether or not that is the most effective way to get a concept across.
